With four narrow body aircraft hangars and two small aircraft (PA-31 and King Air) hangars as well as 12,000 sqm of workshops (including electrical, structural and composite repair, machine shop, heat treatment, paint and upholstery) and a large range of tooling, test and calibration equipment for loan and hire, 2Excel Engineering has the ability to accept short notice, unscheduled work and to dedicate full bays to operators.
The most important asset of any business is its people and 2Excel Engineering is no exception. Having retained 43 staff from ATC Lasham Ltd under TUPE, 2Excel Engineering doubled the workforce in four months growing to over 100 staff in 2016 and now employing more than 250 staff and contract workers. Bringing back many of the engineers made redundant by ATC Lasham in 2015 confers on the new 2Excel team a depth of experience, knowledge and, crucially, instant teamwork. Harnessing that experience, while investing to modernise our expansive hangar facilities, tools and supporting workshops, has meant that 2Excel Engineering, from a standing start, has already established an extraordinary capability.
