Chris Norton
Accountable Manager
Chris co-founded 2Excel Aviation in 2005 and has led 2Excel Engineering since 2016. He is also 2Excel’s Accountable Manager, focusing on the commercial and financial strategies. Chris has steered 2Excel’s growth and diversification over 15 years to create a unique, £100m+ ‘mini-Prime’ aerospace services group.
Matt Caswell
Chief Executive Officer
Matt joined 2Excel Engineering in 2020 from AirTanker, where he held the position of Base Maintenance Manager. He has demonstrable Senior Management and Form 4 holder experience, gained from both airlines and MROs.
Matt is responsible for delivering the Company’s output by effective leadership, management, supervision and control of the delivery team. He ensures that 2Excel Engineering provides safe, compliant and efficient maintenance modification and repair within commercially agreed budgets.
Martin O’Boyle
Commercial Director
Martin joined 2Excel in 2021, and is an aviation professional with more than 30 years in the industry, working with several manufacturers, airlines and Maintenance and Repair Organisations (MRO) from around the world.
With an engineering background, a flying career and various positions held in the MRO sector, Martin has gained significant experience. For the past 18-plus years, Martin has focused on business development and strategy, cultivating partnerships and commercial relationships, and identifying new markets for many international MROs focused on Airbus and Boeing fleets.
Louise Campbell
Group HR Director
Louise joined 2Excel Engineering in 2015 and is responsible for developing and implementing the Human Resources strategy. She sits on the Management Boards of both 2Excel Engineering and 2Excel Aviation.
She gained her Masters in Human Resource Management in 2010 from the University of Bedfordshire, which included accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. With extensive experience of employee relations including change management and conflict resolution, she is also experienced in project work and strategy planning.
Ben Griffiths
Group Head of Communications
Ben joined 2Excel in 2019 and oversees all communications from media relations and public affairs to internal communications, branding and marketing.
He previously led the aerospace and defence practice at a leading communications agency, advising and representing some of the biggest international brands in those industries, including Airbus.
Ross Knight
Maintenance Programme Manager
Ross started at 2Excel Engineering in 2015 as Engineering Support Manager. He has extensive experience in the industry and has worked across most areas of the business including Document Control, Payroll and Business Analysis Management.
He is now the Company’s Maintenance Programme Manager and his role is to oversee management of the Site Production Plan to ensure aircraft are delivered on time and within budget.
