Apprentices inspire the next generation at careers event

Two of our apprentices, Tyler and Benjamin, recently had the pleasure of attending a careers event at Bohunt Wokingham school.

With around 250 students in attendance at the event, Tyler and Benjamin were fantastic ambassadors for the Company, explaining what we do at our engineering base at nearby Lasham Airfield, as well sharing insights on their own experiences, and how to get into the aviation engineering industry.

Students posed some interesting questions for Tyler and Benjamin, even asking how a high bypass engine works.

Tyler said: “The event was very busy and very well attended. There was a lot of interest in what we do, and the Company’s operation.

“It was a great opportunity to represent 2Excel and felt really rewarding to help inspire the next generation who may be considering the aviation engineering sector as a career.”
