Workshop Engineer

Full-time, permanent

Established in 2016 and building on more than 60 years of engineering excellence, 2Excel Engineering is a fast-growing Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Hampshire, delivering service-orientated narrow body Boeing and Airbus Maintenance to Operators and Owners, Leasing Companies and Governments.

We are now looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and analytical Workshop Engineer (mechanical & electrical) with exceptional communication skills to join our team.

Reporting to the Workshops Manager, the Workshop Engineer is a key role within the business and will be responsible for the calibration, maintenance and repair of appropriate company tooling and equipment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Calibrate and repair company tooling (mechanical & electrical)
  • Maintain accurate data logs and card records
  • Issue certificates
  • Knowledge of NAMAS
  • Working with hangar and workshops colleagues to ensure re-delivery of aircraft efficiently and effectively

Also ideally you will have battery handling and maintenance experience and have worked in a Part 145 setting.

You will be a confident communicator, both verbal and written, and be able to build positive working relationships with our employees, managers and customers.
