Trainee Facilities Operative (Apprentice)

We are seeking applicants for a brand new and exciting Facilities apprenticeship we’re launching at 2Excel Engineering.

2Excel Engineering is a Maintenance and Repair Organisation for aircraft based in Lasham, Hampshire.  We have established ourselves as the independent partner of choice for Boeing and Airbus aircraft maintenance, and we look after smaller aircraft too.  The Facilities team are tasked with carrying out a wide range of tasks to keep the site running smoothly. This could include, but not limited to, carrying out building repairs, decorating, moving machinery and furniture, aircraft and site cleaning, organising waste disposal and driving duties.

Through this apprenticeship scheme, you will be mentored by our Facilities team and carry out on the job training, whilst studying towards your apprenticeship qualification through our partner training provider.  At the end of the apprenticeship, you will have acquired new abilities to support your career including theoretical, practical and behavioural skills and be able to apply for permanent roles within the Facilities Team and complete further qualifications. 

We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to develop a career in Facilities. You will be self motivated, have the ability to think independently, show initiative and have excellent attention to detail.  In addition, you will be an excellent and confident communicator.

Successful applicants will be invited to join us for work experience, typically 1-3 days, during which time you will be assessed for your suitability to join as an apprentice and have an interview. 

Please note, any offer is subject to being considered suitable for enrolment on the selected apprenticeship standard, which will be determined by our Training Provider.
