Established in 2016 and building on more than 60 years of engineering excellence, 2Excel Engineering is a fast growing Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Hampshire, delivering service-orientated narrow body Boeing and Airbus Maintenance to Operators and Owners, Leasing Companies and Governments.  

We have continued to invest in tooling, staff and training to modernise our business and fulfil customers’ expectations. We are now looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and help drive us to the next stage in our growth strategy.  

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Maintenance Manager is a pivotal role to oversee all business operations within the maintenance hangars. Your responsibility will include leadership of 150 engineers spread over 4 large and 2 small aircraft bays, as well as outside aircraft. You will take ownership of identifying manpower, facility, tooling and spares requirements for scheduled maintenance, whilst ensuring quality compliance and maintaining output efficiency.   

You will already have experience working within a Part 145 MRO setting and have current understanding of Part 145 technical, maintenance, licensing and engineering regulations.  You will be a confident communicator, both verbal and written, and be able to build positive working relationships with our employees, managers and customer. You will be an effective leader, able to motivate and engage the employees that work for you. You will have the ability to understand the differing, and sometimes complex, maintenance requirements of our customers and understand how to meet them. You will have a solutions focussed, flexible attitude with the ability to multi-task and deliver required outputs.
