Full-time, permanent (40 hours per week Monday to Friday)

2Excel Engineering Ltd are an aircraft maintenance and repair organisation (MRO) based in Hampshire, currently going through a period of growth and transformation to become an MRO that is fit for the modern aviation world, fast.

Due to continued growth we are seeking to appoint an Estimator to join our team in Lasham, Hampshire on a permanent full-time basis.

Candidates should ideally have worked in an aviation (preferably an MRO) setting. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responding to commercial requests for quotations by generating timely and competitive estimates
  • Communication with the Customer to gain clarity of the maintenance input requirements.
  • Preparing and delivering maintenance input details at Internal and Customer Pre-input meetings
  • Providing estimates for in-work customer requests and additions to the work order.
  • Populating the Planning loadsheet with estimated hours and recharge categories for incoming Aircraft Inputs
  • Production of preliminary Project Plans for each Maintenance Input
  • Monitoring the progress of the maintenance input and protecting the estimate regarding booked working hours
  • Updating Estimating spreadsheets to provide constantly evolving data based on booked hours
  • Carry out cost effective and timely closures of any audit findings

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Boeing and Airbus Maintenance Planning Documents and Maintenance documentation is desirable.
  • Experience of Service Bulletin and Airworthiness Directive analysis is desirable.
