Production Planner

Full-time (Permanent) Lasham, Hampshire

Established in 2015 and building on more than 60 years of engineering excellence, 2Excel Engineering is a Maintenance and Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Hampshire, delivering service-orientated narrow body Boeing and Airbus maintenance to Operators and Owners, Leasing Companies and Governments. 

We are currently looking to appoint a new Production Planner to the team.

A key role in the Check Management Unit, the post holder will report to the Production Planning Manager and work closely with the Check Managers to prepare and administer the Work Packs for each aircraft input as well as for those aircraft onsite for storage.

The day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Supporting the Check Manager to arrange tasks and build an effective Aircraft Project Plan.
  • Generating progress reports.
  • Amending booked hours and identifying erroneous bookings.
  • Plan aircraft docking and racking requirements.
  • Build the Project Plan Gantt Chart.
  • Feedback variations between planned and produced man hours to Estimators.
  • Appropriate closure of any relevant audit findings.

The successful applicant will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Be highly organised and able to manage a changeable workload and priorities.
  • Be driven and enthusiastic, a great team player.
  • Be IT literate and competent in using MS Office.
  • Have exceptional communication skills and be confident liaising with Check Managers and Customers at all levels.
